Central Electric Power Cooperative recently made a $1,600 donation to the Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association. 

Don Shaw, chief executive officer and general manager of the cooperative, said this is the third or fourth year the company has made such a donation and the money was raised through a raffle at an employee Christmas party.

“I think they (CMFCAA) do great work,” Shaw said. “It’s certainly great for the community and a great service for children in need.”  (2013)
