As it has for more than 15 years, Central Electric Power Cooperative and its employees made a donation to the Special Learning Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.

This year was the largest single donation made to date totaling $14,008.  

The 2014 donation included a $5,000 matching grant provided by CoBank, a national cooperative bank serving various industries across rural America. 

Don Shaw, chief executive officer, said the cooperative presented the Special Learning Center with a $14,008 check.  

“The Special Learning Center helps many families in our area ,” Shaw said. “We feel privileged to be able to help them continue their good work.”  (2014)
