The employees of Central Electric Power Cooperative raised the bar on their fundraising efforts for the Special Learning Center. Special Learning center provides comprehensive, early intervention services for children with developmental delays and disabilities. For over 15 years the employees of Central have raised funds to benefit Special Learning Center. Employee donations over the years have totaled nearly $100,000. The fundraising efforts of Central’s in employees in 2016 alone raised $19,000 to benefit Special Learning Center. Of the $19,000 raised, $5,000 of the funds were from a matching grant provided by the National Rural Cooperative Finance Corporation.
