Donald W. Shaw, CEO/General Manager of Central Electric Power Cooperative, was inducted into the Missouri Cooperative Hall of Fame by the  Missouri Institute of Cooperatives on March 10, 2014.  Shaw has served at Central Electric for over 40 years.  He began his career with a brief period with Missouri Public Service Company and then joined Central Electric as an electrical engineer.  His career advanced with positions as the chief engineer and manager of engineering and technical services.  He was selected as the CEO/General Manager in 1992 and continues in that role.  

The Missouri Institute of Cooperatives developed the Cooperative Hall of Fame to ensure a permanent, prestigious recognition for future generations of cooperative leaders with exemplary service and lasting achievements.
